Communist China eases Cyberspace access at Olympics

Beijing, China Olympic organizers released some Net sites at the main press center and culture mediums venues Fri while others rested off limits for diarists covering the Peiping games.
Commissioned members of the culture mediums go line at the main Olympic press center in Beiijng.
The relocation falls short of the “free and unchained access” the organisers and Chinese functionaries had assured for calendar months.

Lander collects Red Planet water for tests

The Capital of Arizona lander acquired its automatic arm onto a sample distribution of H2O ice from Mars’ surface and protruded the water ice into flyspeck, onboard “ovens” that will help find if the H2O could support living, NASA research workers said Thursday.
NASA’s Mars Phoenix Lander will test the H2O sample to realize whether it has organicced chemicals.

‘Electronic nose’ could supervene upon sniffer dogs

British capital, England Sniffer dogs have yearned been an utile tool in the hunting for concealed drugs and explosives, but the future looks black for man’s best ally as scientists seek to evolve a new ultra-sensitive electronic nose twist.
New electronic nose could work but as well as the nebs on man’s best ally, say research workers.
